Do you suffer from acne? If so, you’ve probably spent countless dollars on acne creams and gels that promise to help clear your skin. The bad news is you’re probably wasting your money. The good news is, there are ways to prevent future breakouts that won’t cost you a penny. Acne breakouts often occur because of changes you’ve made to your daily routine. Maybe you’ve started using a different laundry detergent, shampoo, face cream or soap.
1. Dirty hands
Hygiene plays a vital part in making sure everything about your skin is in order and truthfully, one of the dirtiest part of one’s body is your hands. From the computer keyborads, gadgets to money, your hands get all the bacteria and you frequently touch your face (sometimes unknowingly with your hands) and it can transfer the bacteria and in the end causes acnes.
2. Pillow covers
Believe it or not but pillow covers, bed sheets and comforters can cause acnes. There are accumulated dust and bacteria transferred by you to your beddings. It’ll be helpful to occasionally change your bed covers.
3. Make-up brushes
Even if you don’t use your brushes daily, it is important to wash them once a week. Not cleaning the brushes regularly will most likely contain unwanted dirts and you would not want that in your face.
4. Not enough sleep/unusual sleeping patterns
Sleep is needed for the body to restore used energy. And when you sleep less or have a varying sleeping pattern, your skin secretes more sebum resulting to new acnes.
5. Not enough water
There are so much advantages in drinking water and not having too much can mean a dirty colon and liver and in which if not cleansed often causes toxins to be built up resulting to acnes
