BEAUTY: KB Gold Premium Soap Review

BY | ASIAN TV CHANNEL

Call me vain but I always aspire to become beautiful – I mean, who wouldn’t? I do this for myself after all and although I believe that everyone has their own beauty, there are ways on how you can improve it. This is why I keep myself updated when it comes to skin care.
So while browsing a few blogs, I ended up with a soap called “KB Gold Premium Soap”. I was kind of hesitant first because the packaging looked to simple: just a plain white box and gold details. But after reading a lot of positive feedback from trusted bloggers, I was swayed to try it myself.

Here are a few details first:
• Price starts at P50 (12 grams) to P475 (135 grams)
• Available at South Star Drugstore, Watsons, Mercury Drugstore, Asian Massage, and Asian Skymall.
• Product Description: “From the makers of KB GlutaNAC comes, KB GOLD PREMIUM SOAP, the first to incorporate Human Placenta Extract 99% of Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Soybean Extract, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C Rosehips in one blend for a fast, safe and effective way to a whiter, smoother, younger looking skin.”
• Ingredients: Sodium Salts of distilled Palm Kernel Fatty Acids, Alpha Arbutin, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, Hyaluronic Acid, Lactic Acid, Beta hydroxy Tricarboxylic Acid, Caprylic Triglycerides, Glycol Stearate, PEG-3 Glyceryl, Cocoate, Steareth-7 Isohexadecane, Sodium Polyacrylate, DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropylbutyl, Carbonate, Triethanolamine, Aqua, Kojic Acid, Soy Bean Extract, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid, Butylated Hydroxytoluene, Human Placenta Extract.

Verdict:
After opening the box, I took what I said for the first time: it wasn’t just a soap wrapped in a simple white box – it’s something fancier. I love how it was wrapped in another paper. I love the name and the number 888 embossed on the soap itself (I don’t even know why I liked the number). It only showed how the company exerted effort in providing a good-looking soap but the question is – is it worth the price?
It is expensive, it definitely is. But the results of KB Gold Premium Soap became visible sooner than I expected. I know whitening takes time so I was amazed when I saw an improvement in my skin. It may not be a drastic change but I felt better with my smoother, glowing skin. I have a light skin though so I think that’s the reason why the effects are faster. Nevertheless, it helped me combat my dry, dull skin due to stress and irregular sleep. What I liked more about the soap is that there’s no visible peeling. I hate it when my skin looks irritated every time I try a new whitening product.
The downside, however, is the price. It’s just too much for a soap. I know that the price should not be an issue is it’s reciprocated well but for someone who’s thrifty, I think I better look for another alternative. But if you’re really willing to make a significant difference in your skin and you’ve allotted a certain budget for your skincare, then I recommend this product to you.
